B16, B20, B24, B26
B20, B24 and B26 grades are composite CBN (Cubic Boron
Nitride) materials. They exhibit high hardness characteristics the same
as ceramics allowing high speed cutting with high efficiency. B16 is a
solid CBN material with TiN coating which makes edge wear easily
detectable.
Applications:
- Turning of
steels (HRC60) and gray case iron
- Finish milling
of gray cast iron
