Cermet Series: Key Benefits
- High wear resistance
- Superior micro-finishes
- Molded or ground-in chip breakers to handle the most
difficult chip control problems
- High speed capability
- Economical cost

T3N, XT3, C30
These inserts are composed of titanium carbide (TiC)
and titanium nitride (TiN). They are suitable for a wide range of
finish and semi-finish turning because of their excellent
resistance to oxidation, negative affinity and high temperature
hardness.
Applications:
- Finish turning
and boring of gray cast iron
- Turning of
ferrous sintered metals
- Semi-finish and
finish turning of steel
- Semi-finish and
finish turning of ductile cast iron

T35, C45
Outstanding thermal shock resistance and mechanical
strength are characteristics of these grades. They are suitable for
milling and deep groove operations with coolant on carbon steel as well
as the machining of bearing steel.
Applications:
- Machining of
bearing races
- General cutting
and milling of steel

XN4
Mainly composed of TiN, these inserts can produce
better surface finishes due to there excellent toughness and wear
resistance.
Applications:
- General cutting,
boring, and grooving of steel
- Tube scarfing
